VOLUNTEER
Meals On Wheels Brevard is actively seeking compassionate individuals to join our mission in supporting the community by delivering nutritious meals to homebound seniors and citizens. Our organization is dedicated to ensuring no neighbor is left hungry or isolated, and we deliver approximately 85-90 meals every day, including holidays, from Monday through Friday. We operate ten routes daily and rely on the generosity and commitment of ten drivers each day to meet the needs of our community.
Volunteering with Meals On Wheels Brevard is a rewarding opportunity to step out of the daily rat race and make a significant impact in the lives of others.
Our process is simple: volunteers use their personal vehicles to deliver meals and are asked to dedicate 1-1.5 hours for a route. We coordinate meal pickups from the loading dock behind Transylvania Regional Hospital at 10:30am.
