How to Become a Volunteer

Meals on Wheels Brevard is seeking compassionate individuals to help deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors in our community. Our volunteers play a vital role in ensuring no neighbor is left hungry or isolated.

Each weekday — including holidays — we deliver approximately 85–90 meals across 10 delivery routes throughout Brevard. This important work is made possible by dedicated volunteer drivers who show up every day to care for their neighbors.

Volunteering with Meals on Wheels Brevard is a meaningful way to give back and make a direct, visible impact in the lives of others.

The process is simple:

  • Volunteers use their personal vehicles

  • Each route takes approximately 1–1.5 hours

  • Meal pickup takes place at 10:30 a.m. from the loading dock behind Transylvania Regional Hospital

With just a small time commitment, you can help ensure seniors receive not only a nutritious meal, but also a friendly, familiar face.
